20 months can feel like days when you’re still grieving, searching and wondering who killed your loved one. Nakitta’s son Armani was killed in July 2022 and she still feels the loss of her child.

Armani Howell was 27 years old when he was sitting in his car at the intersection of Larned and Orleans streets when another vehicle pulled up and opened fire. Armani was one of two people killed. Another was injured.

Armani’s family urged people who may know something to get a conscience and call the police. He was the father of two little girls who are growing up in a community where their father’s killer remains free.
